East African Business Expedition - Uganda & Kenya

SHIFT Enterprise Academy is hosting its first East African Business Expedition! 

The trip is designed to introduce SHIFT members to the vast opportunities in Uganda and Kenya. During the visit participants will engage in exclusive networking opportunities with local business leaders and small business owners. Additionally, participants will attend the Entebbe Business & Investment Summit in Entebbe, Uganda March 14, 15. 

The Uganda stop will feauture opportunities for participants to meet and learn about some of the businesses in the SHIFT Ventures Studio business ecosystem. These are businesses currently seeking investment and funding opportunities. So the trip will also serve as relationship building for those interested in joining the SHIFT Enterprise Academy Angel Investor Network. 

There will be multiple opportunities for sightseeing and cultural awareness opportunities as well while in Uganda. 

Part two of the trip is in Uganda's neighboring country, Kenya. 

During the Kenyan leg of the trip, participants will once again have an opportunity to meet and engage with some of the Founders who have been learning and building their business throuhh SHIFT Enterprise Academy. So there will be more chances to identify potential angel investment opportunities. 

The Kenyan leg will also include some sight seeing and cultural awareness activities in the nation's capital, Nairobi. The highlight of the Kenyan trip is travelling by train to and from Nairobi to Mombasa, Kenya on the country's Eastern Coast just off the Indian Ocean. Here participants will have an opportunity to bask in the 'Miami-like' feel of Mombasa.  

There will be a real estate tour to explore real estate investment opportunities along the Kenyan coast. 

The SHIFT Enterprise Academy - SHIFT Tours East African Business Expedition promises to be a memorable introduction to Africa for some and a reminder of the simple life for others. Uganda and Kenya boast two vastly unique civilization. Members can chose to participate on both legs of the expedition or they may chose to participate in one or the other. 

Pricing Structure

Package 1: Seven (7) Days in Uganda - $3,500

Package 2: Seven (7) Days in Kenya -  $3,500

Package 3: Fourteen (14) Days (7 Uganda, 7 Kenya) - $4,500

*Your payment covers R/T airfare, lodging, two (2) meals per day, and ground transportion, and two (2) recreationla activities per week.

*The expedition is open to members, friends, and family of SHIFT Enterprise Academy. There is a one-time $98 membership fee. 

 

SHIFT Enterprise Academy hosts membership interest meetings on Tuesdays at 11am CST.
