Entebbe, Uganda – November 2, 2023 – The highly anticipated Trans Africa Investment Summit is set to bring together a diverse array of countries and industry sectors for a three-day event from November 9 to 11, 2023. The event will take place at the scenic Anderita Beach Hotel situated on the shores of Lake Victoria in Entebbe, Uganda.
The summit, under the theme "Destination Africa: Fostering Development Collaboration between Africa and the Diaspora," is designed to serve as a pivotal platform for trade facilitation, networking, and collaboration. It aims to connect African businesses and representatives of the global diaspora, providing a unique opportunity for engagement, partnership exploration, and investment prospect identification.
Confirmed to date, participants will hail from various countries including Uganda, the United States, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and many others, totaling 24 nations from different parts of the world. This international gathering will include stakeholders from an extensive range of sectors, presenting ample opportunities for growth, collaboration, and investment in industries such as renewable energy, agriculture, mining, business consulting, tourism, and many more.
Pilot International, spearheaded by Robinah Nanyunja, a prominent Ugandan businesswoman, is hosting the summit. With a robust agenda encompassing a spectrum of sectors and a focus on creating opportunities for trade and investment, the event is poised to set the stage for impactful economic collaborations.
The summit will feature sessions led by prominent leaders and experts in various fields, discussing crucial topics pertinent to industry growth and development. Sessions include distinguished figures such as Her Royal Highness Queen Ameenata of Ghana, HRH Sylvia Nagginda Nabagereka, Mr. Douglas Baguma, and Hon. Sarah Kataike Ndoboli, among others, covering themes ranging from renewable energy and mining to entrepreneurship, trade, and cross-border investments.
