Description
A nine-month incubator program providing nine high performing Enterprisers with a monthly stipend, an industry expert as mentor, and centralized marketing, legal, and accounting services. SHIFT Ventures helps young Enterprisers take their businesses to the next level by providing them with the support and resources they need to enter new markets and scale their operations.
Details
The program provides a centralized legal, marketing, and bookkeeping service for each Enterpriser. These actions help Enterprisers save on startup costs, and also helps them become properly registered.
An additional benefit of centralizing certain services is developing effective marketing campaigns and not having the hassle of possible commingling funds or dealing with tedious bookkeeping.
Enterprisers oversee the day-to-day operations of their business with the primary task of gaining traction, so they can become eligible for a second round of funding at $50,000.

The SHIFT Ventures program accepts nine Enterprisers per cohort, who receive a stipend of $1,000 per month for nine months. Each Enterpriser is matched with an industry expert as mentor for the duration of the program.
SHIFT Ventures also includes two three day in-person accelerators: one in Kampala, and one in Mombasa. Enterprisers will perform practical applications in time management, financial forecasting, and developing the mindset of a champion.
