WOSWIFT Women Foundation, a fashion house dedicated to empowering refugee women in Uganda through the art of crocheting. WOSWIFT originating from Uganda, is a company with a legacy and passion of empowering others through the art of crotchet work artistry and fashion.



This company has the sophisticated appeal of a runway show with the durable quality of utility wear, WOSWIFT designs are quickly making their mark on the fashion world. With a purpose for helping others, WOSWIFT gives back to its headquarters in Uganda by giving towards support towards mental health & povety issues. Mission: WOSWIFT Women Foundation utilizes the art of crocheting to elevate the mental well-being and livelihoods of refugee women while nurturing a community grounded in incivility.


Problem Statement: Refugee women in Uganda encounter multiple obstacles, including mental health struggles and economic hardships, hampering their access to education and employment opportunities.


Solution: WOSWIFT Women Foundation introduces crocheting as a therapeutic activity with the potential to improve mental health, boost self-esteem, and foster community ties. By imparting crocheting skills and resources, we aim to create sustainable livelihoods for refugee women while enhancing their overall mental well-being.
